Rewind 18 months to when Apple announced the iPhone 6. A lot of long term iPhone users were left disgruntled by the company's decision to increase the screen size. As a result many people jumped ship and opted for a smaller Android device instead of following their usual pattern of upgrading to the next iPhone.

This week, at WWDC, Apple announced it's latest addition to the iPhone family; iPhone SE. The SE comes in a smaller form factor, almost identical the iPhone 5s on first inspection, with the internals of the iPhone 6. In theory it should keep 4-inch screen fans on side. However, 18 months is a long time and the people that we have spoken to who have already joined Team Android told us that it was the best decision they made.

It was a good idea to bring out an alternative to the larger iPhone 6 but it doesn't make sense to release it after 18 months. Only time will tell whether the iPhone SE is enough to bring back the customers Apple have already lost. As it stands, Apples loss...Is Androids gain.
