Android Pay finally released in the UK!

After waiting for 9 months after the release of android Pay in the states, it first hit UK shores this morning.

Oddly, there is nothing that needs installing on your phone. Showing that it has been baked deep in the software for some time.

To get started with android Pay, search for it in the app store and click enable. After that, you should see it in the app tray.

Setup is as easy as snapping a picture of your card, then adding your CCV2 number (three digit security number on the back of your card)

After that you will receive a text from your bank with a 6 digit code to enter on the app.

That's all, folks! You're good to go and spend your money at any store that accepts contactless bank cards.

You can find a full list of the banks available in HERE

Have you had any problems setting up a card or downloading the app? Found anywhere that accepts contactless payments but won't accept Android Pay? Get in touch with us and let us know.
