Do you Tweet in bed with the lights off? Or scroll as your stroll on your way home in the dark? Well, Twitter for android has got your tired and strained eyes covered.

The official Twitter app for android has recently added night more. A welcome feature for this Social Media Addict (seriously, it's a thing).

It isn't going to change your life or help you sleep but it definitely is less harsh on your eyes when the lights are off and won't illuminate your bedroom and wake up your bedtime companion.

To activate Night Mode, swipe from the left edge of your screen towards the centre of the screen to show the menu. The fourth option down, (nicely named 'Night Mode') has a toggle to turn off and on. That's it. As easy one, two, Tweet.

We would like to see this mode turn off and on automatically in futer updates, maybe by using the phones Ambient Light Sensor or by a time set by the user. For now, we guess it isn't too inconvenient to turn it off and on manually...
